Help the children of HÔ CHI MINH CITY...
This lively city of 5 millions inhabitants, which still keeps in memory the traces of recent tragedies, is today a megalopolis of the third world with both residential districts and an enormous population of people living in poverty and searching for a means of survival
In Vietnam, school education is free-paying therefore it is optional. The children go to school only if their parents can affort it.
The parents often start work at 4:00 am and the children stay all day long alone without any assistance or just with a sister or brother (hardly any older) who looks after them...
Seeing this misery, l'Arche des Enfants has opened a kindergarten for children from 16 month to 6 years old. There, 12 women take care of them from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
The children are fed, washed and educated in the kindergarten
